Tour to the East Bank

Your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up at the train station, airport, hotel, or Nile cruise when you get to Luxor. Then, start your half-day tour to Karnak Temple, which is the largest temple ever built in Egypt. It was started during the reign of Senusret I (1971–1926 BC) in the Middle Kingdom and finished during the Ptolemaic period (332–330 BC), which is almost 2,000 years of Egyptian history. Walk along the beautiful avenue of the lion-bodied and ram-headed Sphinx, then visit the strong towers, the great hall of 134 columns, the obelisks, the sanctuary of Philip III arrhidaeus of Macedon, the Akh Menu of Thutmose III (1479-1425 B.C. ), and the sacred lake. Then use your free time to look around the great temple at your own pace. Continue to the Luxor Temple in the middle of the city of Luxor. This is the other end of the Sphinx Street, which connects the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC) and Ramses II (1290–1223 BC) built the Luxor Temple. Other pharaohs, like Tutankhamun, Hermoheb, and Alexander the Great, also helped build the temple. After a great tour of Luxor Temple with a guide, enjoy your free time. Later, you will be taken to the train station, airport, hotel, or Nile cruise of your choice in Eastern Luxor.
