Your tour guide will come to your hotel in Aswan and pick you up. From Aswan to Kom Ombo, your air-conditioned car will take you an hour. Start by going to the strange double temple in Komombo that was made for the falcon god Haroeris and the crocodile god Sobek. During the time of the Greeks and Romans in Egypt, the Kom Ombo Temple was built. Visit the Crocodile Museum to see about 300 crocodile mummies and see interesting carvings of scenes from the ancient Egyptian calendar and medical tools. You will drive for about two hours to get to Edfu, where you will visit the Horus the Falcon Temple. The most complete and best kept Egyptian temple is the Temple of Horus. During the time of the Ptolemies, from 332 to 30 BC, the temple was built between 237 and 57 BC. After the tour is over, you can go back to your hotel in Aswan or keep going to your hotel in Luxor at no extra charge.
