Private day tour to The Nubian Museum

The Nubian Museum is one of the most important Egyptian museums, and our Egyptology will take you there. The museum is a "must see" for everyone who comes to Aswan. It has displays and artefacts from places like the High Dam.Egypt built the Aswan High Dam in the early 1960s. At the time, Egyptologists and archaeologists from around the world responded to a call from UNESCO to save the antiquities of Egyptian Nubia before they were destroyed by the high waters of Lake Nasser. More than sixty expeditions eventually joined the Nubian Rescue Campaign. As a result, hundreds of sites have been excavated and recorded, thousands of artifacts have been found, and a few important temples have been preserved and moved to higher ground. In the 1980s, UNESCO was asked to plan a new Nubian Museum in Aswan so that people could store and display objects found in tombs, temples, and settlements. At the time, most people thought they should be kept as close to where they came from as possible. After nearly 12 years of planning, the museum finally opened in November 1997. The building and its surrounding walls are supposed to look like the traditional Nubian villages that were along the Nuba River before the lake filled up in the area. Helper, cheerleader and assistant.A trained Egyptologist will show you some of the most important artifacts, then give you time to tour the museum on your own. The building is a landscape with a series of waterfalls composed of different levels. When the waterway reaches the bottom of the park, it splits into two branches that surround an outdoor stage and amphitheater where many local and international groups have already performed. On the natural rocks of the remaining 43,000 square metres, palm trees, flowers and climbing plants are scattered.
