Tour to The Botanic Gardens and Botanical Museum
A guide who knows about Egypt will take you on a felucca trip to the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island. With a private tour, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the island and the freedom to make your own plans.
From the felucca, you will be able to see the Aga Khan Tomb, which is located on a hilltop and has a great view of the Aswan region. On the West Bank, the tombs of nobles are scattered over empty hills, and an Egyptologist's guide will tell you a little about them while you're sailing.
Depending on the wind speed and the flow of the Nile, a felucca trip to Kitchener Island will take about 20 minutes. When you get there, your guide will take you to the Aswan Botanical Gardens. Before going on a tour of the peaceful gardens, stop by the small Botanical Museum, which has plants and trees from all over the world. Aswan Botanical Gardens is a quiet place to get away from the busy life of Egypt. Young couples and families from Aswan often spend their day on the island.
When you return to the felucca, you will sail back to the east bank of Aswan, using the experience and knowledge of a felucca captain to ride the currents and winds in a comfortable sail.
