On this tour you will go to Upper Egypt to see Minya. It is located on the west bank of the Nile, 245 kilometers south of Cairo. The name of this city comes from the ancient Egyptians who called it Barat Khufu, which means "the Nursing City of Khufu" (Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramids). In this beautiful city, you can see a lot of archaeological sites and enjoy the view of the Nile, agricultural lands, tombs and pharaonic monuments in Tuna al-Jabal, Beni Hassan and Tell el-Amarna. Our tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel to meet you. You will arrive in Minya after driving for about 3 hours. We begin our journeys in places like the Great Plain, where God gave Akhenaten the idea to build his city. Then you will go to a nearby restaurant for lunch. After that, we continued going to Mount Al-Tuna, where you can see the tomb of Petosiris, the ibis catacombs, and the tomb of Isadora. Our tour guide will take you to Beni Hassan, where many tombs of the ancient Egyptian leaders can be seen and visited. These tombs are some of the best of the time. You will then return to your hotel in Cairo.
